MY STORY
OVERVIEW

Laura Muchmore has been a registered nurse for over 20 years, specializing in chronic diseases and end of life care. She is also a Doctor of Naturopathy, a natural intuitive, and energy healer with extensive experience in combining traditional or allopathic medicine with holistic therapies in the pursuit of optimal health and wellness.

AWARENESS
It was during her many years working in hospitals and in hospice care that she began to recognize the connection between the root cause of an illness and the mental, emotional and spiritual causations that were often ignored by physicians and patients alike. Early in her career, she began to recognize that there was a multi-faceted cause of illness and that traditional medicine was ill-equipped to provide any significant improvement to overall health because it lacks focus on the whole person.
This realization led her to leave the allopathic world of medicine and train with leading experts in the fields of functional medicine, energy medicine, orthomolecular medicine, coaching, nutrition, spirituality, and more in order to equip herself with a multitude of tools to guide others on their journey to being the best version of themselves.
ENTREPRENEUR

In 2007, Laura utilized all of her training and experience to build A Natural Approach to Wellness, a successful wellness center in Tampa, Florida, where she applied her multi-disciplinary approach to health and wellness. As the Clinical Director/Owner, she brought together a team of chiropractors, medical doctors, massage therapists, acupuncturists, estheticians, psychotherapists, yoga instructors, hypnotherapists, deep field microscopists, energy healers, and nutritionists to offer a thoroughly comprehensive model of holistic healthcare to the Tampa Bay area. Sadly, this center was closed upon her move to Virginia in 2011.
The grief of having to close her beloved wellness center caused Laura to go within and reflect on her next steps. What she discovered was that she loves the creative process of developing small businesses as it allows her to use her creativity, big-picture thinking, and knack for bringing together the perfect people to create something amazing for others.
In 2014, on a dare from a local business woman, Laura created the Fredericksburg Health and Wellness Expo, the first of its kind in the area, with over 200 vendors in an 80,000 square foot expo center. This one-of-a-kind expo brought together allopathic and alternative/holistic healthcare providers, allowing attendees to explore and have comprehensive exposure to all areas of healthcare that were available in the community.
She has also co-created businesses with marketing experts, NYT best selling authors and others to help aspiring authors build their brand from the ground up. This included logo/brand development, web design and implementation, social media/marketing plans, and helping them to find their voice to more effectively connect with their audience.

Today, Laura is focused on her own personal and professional development in order to be ready and able to assist humanity in this ever-changing world.
Her mission is to educate, inspire, empower and help facilitate awakening in ALL who are ready.
